MM2H Application Process & Services

The application process is generally the same across all tiers, with the main difference arising in the property purchase requirements for Fixed Deposit withdrawal.

Property Purchase and Fixed Deposit (FD) Withdrawal Rules

    SFZ Tier

    It’s mandatory for property purchase to be made within 6 months before visa endorsement in order to qualify for 50% FD withdrawal.

    Property must be bought directly from Forest City developer ( no sub - sale ).

    Silver, Gold & Platinum Tiers

    Up to 50% of the fixed deposit may be withdrawn upon visa endorsement and execution of the Sale and Purchase Agreement ( SPA ), provided the property is purchased within one ( 1 ) year after endorsement or within two ( 2 ) years before endorsement.

Important Note :

For all tiers, properties purchased outside the FD withdrawal eligibility window may still be used to satisfy the MM2H property requirement, but they will not qualify for the 50% FD withdrawal.

Once receive Conditional Approval, granted 3 months to complete with normally 2 weeks stay in Malaysia :
i. FD account opening & placement

Visa Endorsement

i. Visa stamped after compliance.
ii. Sign SPA ( property purchase ) – within 1 year after visa endorsement.

Post Endorsement : FD Withdrawal

Up to 50% of FD can be withdrawn upon visa endorsement and execution of the Sale and Purchase Agreement ( SPA ), if property is purchased within the allowed window:
– 1 year after endorsement or 2 years before endorsement.

    Letter of Good Conduct from country of origin
    ( Police Clearance Certificate ) - Main Applicant & Dependent(s) above 18 years old

    Bank statements to show financial viability

    Resume ( CV ) with supportive certificates

    Marriage certificate ( if accompanied by spouse )
  • v
    Birth certificate ( if accompanied by unmarried children below age 34 )

    Colour copy of current passport ( all pages )

    Passport size photo in blue background both digital and physical ( 2pcs )
  • viii
    Any other supporting documents that help to build a good case for yourself

Note:

All the above photocopies must be translated into English and certified by notary public office in your country.

Our Professional Fees

The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture ( MOTAC ) has established a standardized professional fee that all licensed agencies must comply when handling MM2H applications.

Agencies are not permitted to charge above or below the official fee set by the relevant authority.

Scope of Services in Professional Fee

1. Consultation

Covering MM2H – related matters and other areas if required.

2. Documentation Preparation 

Assisting in compiling and completing all required documents.

3. Application Submission with the OSC

4. Application Monitoring & Updates

Tracking progress and updating the Client on application status.

5. Arrival Coordination 

Arranging and coordinating the Client’s arrival in Malaysia to complete post – approval requirements.

6. Assistance with Post-Approval Formalities

7. Referring the Client to service providers to fulfill OSC MM2H requirements :

i. Opening a fixed deposit account

ii. Purchasing basic medical insurance

iii. Undergoing a medical check-up.

8. Facilitating MM2H Visa Endorsement

9. Payment Facilitation

Assisting in the payment of fees to the relevant government authorities or institutions.

10. Personal Bond Execution – if applicable
